CLAS and AAPASS 2024

Phase I: Gaining Content and Knowledge

Conference/Training fees must be paid before PLU can be awarded.

Participants must attend the two conferences listed below:

• AAPASS Conference (March 5-8, 2024 - Must attend 5 of the 10 sessions for PLU credit.)
•  2024 CLAS Summer Convention (June 10-12, 2024)

AND must attend/participate in one of the following activities:

• Attend at least two district AAPASS meetings during 2024. Documentation of attendance and a meeting agenda should be submitted to Kevin Hathcock by email ( aapassplu@gmail.com)
• Attend at least two state or district meetings related to your current job responsibilities. (Required state meetings do not count). Documentation of attendance and a meeting agenda should be submitted to Kevin Hathcock by email (aapassplu@gmail.com)
• Read two research-based journal articles related to your current area of responsibility. Submit to Kevin Hathcock by email (aapassplu@gmail.com) a two-page article review noting how the content is applicable to your school or district.

Phase II: Implementation (Required)

• Participants must invest a minimum of 25 hours implementing/applying learned content.
  Document on the CLAS Implementation Log and submit to Kevin Hathcock by email (aapassplu@gmail.com) by December 31, 2024.

Phase III: Evaluation/Reflection (Required)

• Complete the online PLU Evaluation form.
