Cold Springs High School

1936 Club
Cullman County Schools
Principal: Mr. Eric Dickerson
Superintendent: Dr. Shane Barnette

The 1936 Club at Cold Springs High School is a unique and welcoming organization dedicated to serving both students and the surrounding community. Our club is built on a simple but meaningful idea: anyone who wants to help others while having fun is welcome to join. Unlike many other organizations, we do not require a minimum GPA or letters of recommendation, which allows more students the opportunity to get involved and make a difference. Throughout the year, the 1936 Club participates in a variety of activities that benefit others and bring people together. Members volunteer their time tutoring fellow students, helping improve academic success across the school. The 1936 Club also hosts community events such as a Halloween trunk-or-treat, Christmas in the Springs, and an Easter egg hunt, all of which create lasting memories. In addition to service, the club gives back to its members by awarding an annual scholarship to a senior member who has demonstrated dedication and involvement. The 1936 Club is proud to be the largest club at Cold Springs High School, reflecting its inclusive nature and strong sense of community. By encouraging service and involvement, the club has contributed to a decrease in attendance issues and an increase in academic achievement. The 1936 Club truly makes a positive impact both inside and outside the school.
