Truman M. Pierce Leadership Award

An award, given by the Alabama Association of Elementary School Administrators (AAESA) to an educator who has made outstanding contributions to advance the direction of education in Alabama.

This award is given to an educator who has made outstanding contributions beyond expectations which advance the direction of education in Alabama.

District nominations must be made by May 1.  District nominations must be submitted in writing to the AAESA Executive Board at the CLAS Convention in June.  Winner is selected by the AAESA Executive Board at the CLAS Convention in June.  Presentation is made at the AAESA Fall Instructional Leadership Conference in November.
