Supporting Students to Succeed with Text Dependent Writing
November 4 and 5, 2020
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (Two Day Event)
Presented by: Jennifer Kincaid
Imagine students wanting to improve their writing - just because! Join Jennifer Kincaid and learn evidence-based and standards-aligned writing practices and strategies to engage students in the writing process. These strategies will help students organize ideas, craft powerful sentences, develop voice, elaborate on their thinking, and revise with purpose while crafting authentic writing. Leave this institute with knowledge to grow writers and support students in giving and receiving formative feedback around writing.
- To obtain credit for this event, you are required to participate in both presentations. If you are not able to attend both of the sessions live, a recorded version will be available following the event.
- The recording will be available to view for PLU or clock hour credit through November 30 only.
- Due to the interactive nature of these sessions, live participation is encouraged. Access to the recordings will be sent to all registrants following Thursday’s presentation.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the November Leadership Institute will be offered virtually.
