As is usually the case, it’s been another active year in special education law. Although the IDEA itself has not changed since 2004 and Section 504 has not changed in decades, there continues to be an enormous amount of litigation occurring, as courts and federal agencies attempt to interpret and apply the provisions of these laws to individual cases. Join noted attorney, Julie Weatherly as she shared updates on significant special education “legal happenings” during the past year, including an overview of relevant court decisions and U.S. agency action and interpretations.
