Apr 2, 2015 by Alyssa Godfrey

The Kimbrough Scholarship is given in honor of Dr. W. H. Kimbrough, a long-time member of CLAS, officer of SSA, and Associate Executive Director of CLAS for 13 years before he retired in 1991.  AASSP recognizes the need to prepare qualified persons to fill the future needs for secondary school administration.  To assist in the fulfilling of this need, AASSP offers two scholarships annually in the amount of $500 each.  The purpose of the scholarships is to assist qualified individuals who wish to pursue a degree or certification in the area of secondary school administration.  To qualify, an individual must be working on initial certification in the specified field.
