Principal, Mr. Bobby Tittle

Superintendent, Mr. Donald Turner

Ohatchee High School’s Get Involved program was designed to get students involved in extra-curricular activities to help students develop soft skills, learn leadership roles, develop work ethic, show school pride, and feel a sense of ownership in the school. To recruit students into these activities, Ohatchee made videos, created bulletin boards, and had informative discussions from sponsors and coaches. Once involved, students developed a since of accountability to the organization which resulted in improved attendance, low discipline issues and academic enhancement. The lessons learned were life-time lessons and continue to benefit students in the future. Getting involved was more than athletics. The program included FFA, Choir, Robotics, FCCLA, Honor Society, Band, FBLA, and many more. Finding a place to belong for Ohatchee students truly helped them shine bright, become better students, and helped develop skills to become better adults.
