The Alabama Literacy Act, in conjunction with the science of reading and structured, student-centered coaching, serves as the foundation for ARI's work across the state. This informative session will highlight the steps necessary to ensure student reading success. What a Trip! Beginning with the End in Mind with Textbook Adoption

And - most importantly - what all needs to happen to make it a smooth trip! Textbook adoption is not rocket-science, for sure - but it IS an extensive process full of legalities & potential missteps than can eat away at your valuable time. Without proactive leadership, you might end up with the type of "vacation" at the end that would make Chevy Chase miserable! This session - a year ahead of the big science textbook adoption - will help chart out a course for your dream "vacation!"
