ABOUT CASE:

Alabama CASE is a professional educational organization whose members are dedicated to the enhancement of the worth, dignity, potential, and uniqueness of each individual in society.  Those who recieve special education services are individuals who possess basic rights and responsibilities, and who command respect at all times.  Special Education embraces the right to a free appropriate education.

MISSION:

The purpose of the CASE organization is to promote professional leadership; to provide opportunities for the study of problems common to its members; and to communicate through discussion and publications information that will develop improved services to children with disabilities throughout the state of Alabama.  The mission of CASE is to provide leadership and support to its members by shaping policies and practices which impact the quality of education.
