MISSION:

Alabama ASCD, is a diverse, community of educators, forging covenants in teaching and learning for the success of all learners.

GOALS:

  • Alabama ASCD will influence forces promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Alabama ASCD will demonstrate its commitment to diversity and service through governance, membership, programs, and communication.
  • Alabama ASCD will promote and model national standards of professional development.
  • Alabama ASCD will network/collaborate with other educational related organizations to address issues of common concern and interest.

Alabama ASCD Outstanding Curriculum Leader Award

AASCD SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

The Alabama Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD) established a scholarship fund in honor of retired Executive Secretary, Dr. Bill Berryman.  It is the intent of AASCD to provide scholarships for students pursuing a degree in education.  Many educators will want to make a contribution to this effort.
